Cara Wilson joined Designed Learning in 2023. She has 20 years experience working in healthcare and technology doing Organizational and Leadership Development and Coaching. She has worked with teams and leaders on three continents. She is a Professional Certified Coach through International Coach Federation and is certified in the Leadership Circle and Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching.
Cara worked for nearly a decade in healthcare, coaching physician leaders and hospital administrators at the Cleveland Clinic and Akron General. She also spent 5 years coaching engineering leaders at Tableau Software, and another 2 coaching executives at Salesforce. In 2023, she started her own consulting practice, coaching, teaming, and facilitation for small to medium-sized organizations looking to get better outcomes. Her services include coaching, leadership development, offsite design and facilitation, and facilitator training.
Cara’s passion is in helping teams, and leaders mature in ways that make their work more meaningful, more productive, and more connected. She uses humor and experience to create engaging experiences for her clients.
Cara’s undergraduate degree was in Environmental & Outdoor Education from Western Washington University, and her Master’s Degree is in Coaching and Consulting in Organizations from the Leadership Institute of Seattle. She lives on a blueberry farm in Poulsbo, Washington, with her husband and best canine pal Milo.
