Andrew Jones – known as ‘AJ’ is a Business Psychologist with over 20 years as an independent consultant. He has worked in most business sectors, supporting over 300 leading organizations with personal, team, and organizational effectiveness initiatives to enable better business outcomes.
He is a facilitator, coach, and consultant, bringing psychologically informed knowledge and skills to topics such as Organizational Culture Change, Leadership Development, Employee Performance and Engagement, and the human side of business change and transformation.
He has a master’s degree in Change from the University in Surrey and is a member of the International Association of Facilitators.
His work has included assignments in over 40 countries (so far!), and he regularly works in the Middle East, Asia, the USA, and across Europe and has also done work in Africa and South America. Often supporting specialist consulting firms with bespoke work such as the application of psychometric tools, driving behavior change, employee engagement and retention, and customer-facing interventions to increase customer intimacy and elevate professionals towards Trusted Advisor mindsets and behaviors.
His early career included roles in Sales and Marketing for Mobil Oil Company, Specialist IT Recruitment, and as an operations manager for an outplacement and career transition firm.
He is known for an engaging and positive, and motivating style, for working with compassion, and for building connections and relationships. He is driven by an unrelenting curiosity for people’s relationship with what they do for a living – and all his professional work centers on making this more effective and fulfilling – for the individual, their team, and their organization.
He lives in the UK – west of London, near Stonehenge. When not engaged in professional activity, he plays sax in a rock band called The Lawbreakers – 3 lawyers and 4 regular folks!
