Cara Wilson joined Designed Learning in 2023. She has 20 years experience working in healthcare and technology doing Organizational and Leadership Development and Coaching. She has worked with teams and leaders on three continents. She is a certified coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and is certified in the Leadership Circle and Hogan Assessments.
Cara worked for nearly a decade in healthcare, coaching physician leaders and hospital administrators at organizations including the Cleveland Clinic. She spent 5 years embedded as a management coach for the engineering leaders at Tableau Software, and another 2 coaching executives at Salesforce. In 2023, she started her own consulting practice, doing coaching, teaming, leadership development and facilitation for organizations looking to get better outcomes.
Cara’s passion is in helping teams and leaders mature in ways that make their work more meaningful, more productive, and more connected. She uses humor and experience to create engaging experiences for her clients. Diagnosed as neurodivergent later in life, she brings a special affinity for building neuro-inclusive environments and supporting neurocomplex individuals in the workplace.
Cara’s undergraduate degree was in Environmental & Outdoor Education from Western Washington University, and her Master’s Degree is in Coaching and Consulting in Organizations from the Leadership Institute of Seattle. She lives on a blueberry farm in Poulsbo, Washington, with her husband and canine pal Harley.
