Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, fluent in Portuguese and English, Kip Garland brings twenty years of experience of developing and leading successful learning and development valuable learning outcomes to individuals and organizations.
Kip is the founder of the first innovation consulting firm in Latin America. One of his consulting projects has been written up as a Harvard Business School Case. Kip is a frequent speaker and promoter of innovation in learning approaches.
Kip is also a Professor at Brazil’s most prestigious institute for corporate governance (IGBC), and was a Full Professor of Strategy, Marketing, and Innovation at FDC, the Financial Times ranked Top Ten Business School. In these roles he has developed and lead projects with leading corporations to innovate learning approaches.
Kip is also an International Development Consultant with multilateral organizations such as the World Bank, the UN, USAID, IFC, UNDP, CHF, IRD, in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia
Kip Started his business career in the PwC strategy practice developing new market entry strategies for players entering into new and emerging technology markets , and his professional career as a High School Physics and Math Instructor the Mid-Pacific Institute, Honolulu Hawaii.
Kip has a BA – Physics Cum Laude, from the California State Univeristy and an MBA from – University of Minnesota in a joint program with ESADE (Spain), The Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden), and the Fundação Getulio Vargas (Brazil).
