JP joined Designed Learning as a Consultant in 2020. He leverages his experience as a consultant, coach, and facilitator to enable behavior change and skill development aligned to business needs. Always looking to confront leaders with their freedom of choice, JP possesses an innovative approach with acute attention to detail and foresight to see the big picture.
JP has a variety of human capital experience within financial services (Wells Fargo), retail (Bloomingdale’s), talent management (Career Partners International), and multi-media (Disney). As a strategic catalyst, he’s known for his organizational acumen and ability to collaborate with and influence others toward a common goal. JP thrives on revealing new perspectives, challenging traditional thinking, and engaging all levels of conversation and contribution.
JP earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from High Point University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Shorter University. He holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, as well as Career Consultant certification in Career Transition Management.
JP lives in Stamford, CT with his husband, Brad, where they enjoy discovering the beauty of the Long Island Sound’s Gold Coast and spoiling their three goddaughters. JP is currently teaching himself to play the accordion and learning to speak French—aimed at the goal of retiring in France.
