In this opening session of Connecting for the Common Good: A Masterclass with Peter Block and Friends, we invite you into a conversation about the narratives that shape our communities, institutions, economies, and how we think about change. Together, we will explore how reframing the context for well-being and economic development is the essence of our collective transformation.
At the center of this change is one deceptively simple concept: welcoming the stranger. This idea and others that will be presented in this 90-minute session challenge us to bring our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion into each gathering we are a part of. The future we want to inhabit is more available than we imagine. We will also explore the limitations of efforts to reform and how, at times, departure and refusal are powerful forms of transformation.
