April joined Designed Learning as a Consultant in 2019. She leverages her experiences as a C-suite executive, consultant, coach, facilitator and advisor to help clients conceive, engage, and thrive in their visions, strategies, and relationships. She intimately knows the challenges of juggling the demands of company goals, team dynamics, and ever-changing environments and works to synthesize, simplify, and problem-solve with Participants.
April has a diverse background in Human Resources, Operations, and Engineering and vast industry and work experiences. Her corporate experience includes companies Worldpay, Burger King, Ingersoll-Rand, GKN, Burlington Industries, Spring Industries, and SCE&G. Her consulting clients consist of Fortune 500 companies, Private Equity Firms, niche consulting firms, start-ups, and inventors. She has worked with thousands of professionals, managers, and executives in a variety of companies and functions helping them embrace and integrate their soft skills as a pivotal capability to operationalize ideas and interact effectively.
April received a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. She also holds several certifications and licenses in Human Resources, Coaching, Training, and Real Estate.
April resides in Atlanta, GA and believes in trying new things at least three times before rejecting them (depending on the danger involved).
